Red Gate Farm, LLC is somewhat unique in southern IL, thanks to the fact there is no tractor to run the farm. It is powered by horses. Due to our recent move to our new property, which lacked the necessary facilities, we were forced to sell most of our horses. We currently have only 1 resident horse, in addition to a selection of TIP Mustangs in training and available for adoption. We also have plans to add a new work team as soon as our facility is finished. Our residents include:



GRACE




Grace is an ~2013 Gypsy Vanner mare, standing 16 hands. She joined us as a rescue/rehab case in 2019, with severe founder, collar sores, leg mites, and a number of other health issues. Her personality and willingness to please captured our attention, though, so she became a resident at Red Gate Farm. Thanks to excellent veterinary care, frequent hoof care, a good diet, and a lot of hard work, she has become a beautiful, healthy, dependable, riding and driving horse for our family and business!
